Raphael Domjan, an œecoexplorer and electrical engineer, premiered on Wednesday his solar plane capable of reaching staggering heights of 82,000 feet, or nearly halfway through the stratosphere.

In a continuation of what is now a growing trend of private sector-involvement, IKEA will soon become the largest non-utility owner of solar power in the state of Ohio. Boasting a potential of 1.21 MW potential from 3,546 PV panels, the Columbus, OH project is the second in the state for the house-ware giant; its Cincinnati store was topped with a 1.026 MW array in 2012.
